How to Play Fortnite Ballistic

Choose from either Ranked or Unranked Ballistic and ready up to load into Skyline 10, a map built specifically for this tactical mode.

• Unranked (casual) matches let you practice mechanics casually

• Ranked (Competitive) games impact your competitive rating. Teams are balanced based on party average rank. Players face penalties for leaving ranked matches early.

Game Objective

You’ll start as either the attacking or defending team Attackers must plant the Rift Point Device at designated sites, while defenders need to stop them or defuse it. The stakes run high since players can't respawn during rounds. Teams win by detonating the device or eliminating all opponents.

• First team to 7 round wins gets the victory

• Teams switch sides after 6 rounds
